Coaching Requirements & Certification

ALL COACHES MUST BE FINGERPRINTED AND IN CLEARINGHOUSE BY DECEMBER 2026


Please contact your school Athletic Director for more information regarding Steps to becoming a Volunteer Coach!

All coaches must complete the following requirements each school year:

Requirement Provider
Concussion in Sports NFHS Course
Heat Illness & Prevention NFHS Course
Sudden Cardiac Arrest NFHS Course
Sportsmanship NFHS Course
Coach Code of Conduct Form Coach Code of Conduct

Additional Requirements:

  • Safe Environment (Fingerprinting) - Required every 5 years through Diocese of Orlando
  • All Coaches must obtain a Catholic Youth Sports Coaching ID and lanyard
